I trade Police patches. Click "contact" from the main menu and email me about this.
Lots of effort needed to crank out that halfass smile at work! (12/04 in Middleton, MA)
I was born in the Northern Massachusetts textile-mill city of Lowell. When I was about 5 my parents split and I was raised
primarily in Boston and its suburbs. I come from a strong working-class background of tradesmen, homemakers and factory workers.
After a somewhat challenging upbringing, I finished my BA from UMass Boston when I was in my late 20's. After that I was
admitted to several law schools, but decided not to attend because I didn't really want to practice law and didn't want the
expense.
I work in Law Enforcement but have also worked in non-profits program management and in the courts. In doing that I've
worked with all kinds of people, from all walks of life. While working with criminals and other people with problems I've
lost a lot of my youthful idealism, but all in all I wouldn't trade the experiences for anything. Currently I work as a Federal
Officer in the Nation's Capitol. My home is Arlington, Virginia.
When I'm not working I like lifting weights, playing tennis, going to ball games, dining out, learning, and I love to
walk. I enjoy all types of music (especially rock, but classical and bluegrass are also favorites) I'm a movie fanatic, and
I read as much as I can. Some of my other hobbies include: politics, working on my Master's degree, dabbling in martial arts
from time to time, museums, coffee, conversation, and friendship.
I believe that some of the most important qualities any person can possess are honesty, loyalty, humility, courage, and
commitment to principle.
