What happened to my Party?
I became independent after slowly seeing the Dems depart from mainstream working-class values and then embrace the politics
of division, exclusion, and political correctness.
I never thought I'd vote Republican but they have progressed to be the Party of inclusion and diversity of ideas. As a
political centrist, I feel welcome in the GOP where I no longer do with the Democrats.
Lately, the Democratic party has become a Party of "anything and anyone but Bush" but has not advanced any reasonable
ideas on anything.
